Plants, People, and History Book Club

Credit: Delaware Valley University. The Joseph Krauskopf Memorial Library at Delaware Valley University is hosting a new book club during the fall semester focused on the relationship between people and plants.

Join Delaware Valley University for a new book club focused on discussing great plant scientists and explorers who helped to shape the nation’s gardens, cuisines, and agriculture from the early 18th century to modern times. Hosted by Dr. Sarah Dohle, assistant professor of plant science, and Karen Sheldon, electronic and instructional services librarian, the group invites new members to come to one or, all of the sessions for engaging conversations about the books in the series. Guests do not need to register in advance, and there is no cost to participate in the book club. Please obtain and read each month’s selection prior to attending the group. The Plants, People, and History Book Club meets in the DelVal library on the last Thursday of the month from 6 to 7 p.m.
