This Thursday, March 25th at 4:30 pm in Mandell Room 114 we are holding the rescheduled film screening of the documentary "Food Fight" along with the unique opportunity for Q&A with Steve McDonnell, founder of Applegate Farms as well as local farmers.  If you are not familiar with Applegate Farms, they are a national meat brand devoted to antibiotic free, organic and natural meats. Steve McDonnell was recently interviewed by Katie Couric highlighting how they are trying to change "the way America eats meat." The topic is an important one, relating to all students and the community. The film features the variety of events which led to the current state of the US food system and the people trying to bring nutrients & flavor back to our food system.

There will an abundance of local and organic food at the reception following the panel discussion. If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to contact me (x2333) or the co- organizer, Kristin Perry at or 215.767.4051.
