Dr. Fritz developed his passion for animals and agriculture growing up on his family’s small, diverse farm in Southern New Jersey that has been in operation since 1891. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stockton University and his Ph.D. in Endocrinology and Animal Biosciences from Rutgers University studying behavioral neuroendocrinology in the domesticated goat. At Delaware Valley University, Dr. Fritz teaches a variety of courses, including Introduction to Animal Science, Small Ruminant Science, Physiology of Lactation, Livestock Industries and Careers, and Practical Leadership in Agriculture. Dr. Fritz is actively involved in student research projects focused on the behavior of small ruminants, while advising Block & Bridle, and the A-Day Student Planning Committee, and NESA (Northeast Student Affiliate) clubs. Dr. Fritz also serves on the University’s Curriculum Committee.
