Kathy P. Wu is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania with certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr. Wu earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Northeastern University, and her master’s degree in applied psychology from New York University. Dr. Wu’s clinical specialization is in child and adolescent psychotherapy, with emphases on child abuse and post-traumatic stress. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral training at Astor Services for Children and Families, Bronx, NY, and her post-doctoral fellowship at the CARES Institute at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Her research interests are in exploring the lived experiences of historically marginalized communities, and their interactions with prolonged exposure to multi-systemic hardships such as economic stress, poverty, and homelessness. Dr. Wu lives in Philadelphia, enjoys being in nature, and is an avid reader of memoirs.
