Alex Vo takes on Africa
Posted on May 4, 2016 by Alexander Vo '18.
Hello and salutations, there, guys! My name is Alexander Vo and I am your own very Delaware Valley University student, here in Cape Town, South Africa.
Some of you may know me as either your student, friend, teammate or just that commuter kid who rides his skateboard everywhere to class, but it’s that same me who has traveled all the way overseas 7,500 + miles away from home to Cape Town.
I arrived here in Cape Town on Jan. 27, 2016, so it has been a bit over two and a half months now and I’ve been doing a good job at keeping myself super busy! This also explains why it has taken me this long to finally make my first blog post.
For those who knew that I’ve left DelVal this spring semester to study abroad, I know you guys have been waiting and are eager to see the updates of my experiences thus far. Let me break down my experience from the time I left the States, to the moments as an international student studying here at the University of Cape Town in this beautiful Mother City of Cape Town, South Africa.
