Celebrate St. Patty’s Day at These Bucks County Spots

With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, March 17, you're probably breaking out your green attire and getting ready to bring out your inner-Irish around Delaware Valley University. St. Patrick's Day is the global celebration of Irish culture and remembers St. Patrick, who was one of Ireland's patron saints.
The best part about St. Patty's Day is that many locations don't just recognize the holiday, but they extend the festivities over a few days or a week, giving you plenty of opportunities to join.
If you're looking for some fun places to celebrate this year, and you're 21 or over, check out the top spots located near campus.
The Green Parrot is a restaurant with a pub and patio that is hosting its Annual Irish Festival from March 12 to March 17, 2016. This six-day festival will feature live performances, family-friendly fun, Irish-themed drinks and food, face painting and more festive activities every day.
Conveniently located at 240 N. Sycamore Street in Newtown, this beautiful restaurant is the perfect place to hope for some luck of the Irish. Bring your friends for a great time.

On March 15, Flip-N-Mickeys Irish Punk Band will be at Steam Pub with the dancers from Rince Ri school of Irish dance. The entire celebration will be from 1 to 5 p.m., with the dancers making their appearance at 2 p.m.
Located at 606 Second Street Pike in Southampton, Steam Pub has a cool atmosphere and serves lunch and dinner. They have soups, salads, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches and flavorful entrées. The pub features seasonal cocktails along with a large selection of bottled and draft beers.

The Spinnerstown Hotel hosts their St. Patty's Day on March 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. Enjoy the Irish-themed drinks that will be served throughout the night, and listen to live performances by Craig Thatcher, Nyke Van Wyke and Don Plowman.
