The Office of Residence Life cultivates a living-learning environment where students can flourish within the structure and support of our university community. It is our intent to challenge our students and provide opportunities through consistent and collaborative efforts so that they may reach their fullest potential. We embrace the unique and diverse qualities and cultures each student brings to our community. To this end, we strive to guide and mentor our students to become successful, contributing, and interdependent members of the DelVal community.

Residence Life Staff

Professional Live-In Staff - Professional full-time staff members living in the residence halls, who supervise the Resident Assistants, support the community development to help students feel a sense of belonging and be academically successful, serve as a resource and support for students and manage the day-to-day operations of the residence halls.

Resident Assistant (RA) – Selected upper-class students. The RA’s serve as mentors and resources, assist with personal, social, and academic issues, model and uphold community standards, and sustain an environment that encourages interaction and learning.

Residence Hall Policies

A safe and welcoming environment that supports students’ academic success and fosters personal achievement is the goal of the residential experience at Delaware Valley University.  All students play an active role in their residential experience and are ultimately responsible for their actions. The residence hall policies support the above goal. Students concerned about their conduct in the residence halls should refer to the University’s Student Code of Conduct
