Dean, Division of Graduate and Professional Studies
Dr. Jim Moryan is currently the dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Delaware Valley University, acting as the school’s administrator by supervising and coordinating all aspects of graduate education within the University.
Dr. Moryan is accountable for the oversight of all operations of the five divisions within the school, which include the MBA program, graduate education, continuing education, entrepreneurial studies, and military and veteran affairs. Before serving as interim dean, he served as DelVal’s director of graduate education, with oversight of both the Master of Science in Teaching and Learning and the Master of Science in Educational Leadership programs, as well as three state certification programs.
Dr. Moryan’s teaching and management experience includes serving as a clinical instructor at Kean University, where he managed on-site supervision of university students assigned to sophomore, junior, and senior field experiences. He also served in several roles at Rutgers University, including directing the university’s Sport Club Program and working as consultant to the dean.
